Printed boxes

With living in the digital age, we have various printing methods to make use of, to ensure the perfect printing process for your gift packaging. With digital printing, branding options for your gift packaging and stationery, that were once impossible on shorter runs, are now a reality.

Digital printing – refers to a method of printing from a digital image directly to various digital printing media, such as large format printer, laser or inkjet printers. Digital printing has a higher cost per page, but on smaller runs do not have the expense of plates used for offset printing, also called litho printing. Digital printing has a short turnaround time, which allows for on-demand printing.

Even though we have all this technology at our fingertips, older printing methods are still very favourable for specific printing requirements, like silk screening, letterpress and foil printing. Every printing process has its advantages and will give its particular look to your printing needs.

With making use of digital printing in packaging design, means we can make short-run boxes or package material with the company branding and logo. We can print set artwork, designed, for various packaging material. Every item can be customised, e.g. like adding a guest name, or a particular message.

Large format printing is used when digital printing is physically too small. This opens up various packaging choices, and you don’t have to compromise on your packaging needs.

Offset printing or Litho printing is preferable larger printing runs with particular CMYK colour needs is required. It is a more cost-effective method for larger quantities and outstanding quality. Colours can be matched closely to set design colours.

Offset printing is a commonly used printing technique in which the inked image is transferred (or “offset”) from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface. Each CMYK colour is printed separately, on a separate printing plate, and every layer added to the next makes up the final image. The cost per unit on larger quantities is much less than digital printing.
